Apple to Sell 200,000 iPads per Week

According to reports, Apple is selling about 200,000 iPads weekly in the U.S. But still the iPad sales are behind sales of the iPhone 3GS that amounted to 246,000 per week.

Mike Abramsky is an analyst from RBC Capital Markets, he made a global outlook for the sales of iPad in 2010. According to his estimations, during the third quarter of the year, i.e. the end of June, the sale of the tablet device will increase from 1.5 million to 2.5 million. Recently it was announced by Apple that the company managed to sell one million iPads within 28 days. But because of such an agiotage, the international launch was postponed. Those who had made pre-orders in the UK, will be able to get their tablet devices this Friday, 28 May. But if you visit the Apple online store, you will be able to see the list of shipments of all 6 versions of the iPad that are scheduled on June 7th.

According to Abramsky, Apple would be able to sell 23 million of iPhones, called the iPhone HD also he supposes that the company could roll out a new version of the iPhone next month at the annual Apple Worlwide Developers Conference 2010, which will be held between 7 and 11 June. He conducted a survey according to which 20 per cent of all 1,000 respondents are ready to avail the fourth generation of the iPhone, others would rather buy Apple’s smartphone that was first released in 2007.
