Google to Change Privacy Standards

Google-to-Change-Privacy Everyone knows that to use the internet these days your privacy is pretty much out in the open. With so many companies using tracking cookies to gather information about what users are viewing online, there’s no escaping the fact that your privacy has been pretty much sold to the highest bidder. Now, enter Google. The mega search company has had many issues as of late with their privacy practices, especially with Google Analytics, and the company has decided to change instead of pushing on.
Google Offering Choices to Users
Google has decide that it is going to take steps to add a browser based add-on that will allow people to choose whether or not they want to be tracked by their Analytics department. As this will probably result in a lot of people choosing to opt out of such tracking, it could end up seeing the advertising department losing out big time when the add-on becomes available.
Google Analytics
Google uses the Analytics aspect to track what ads are being viewed and clicked on by website consumers. This allows them to place relevant ads in places that will gather the most attention for the website being offered. If people are opting out left and right from being tracked, it might not work out very well for advertisers. However, with privacy being such a huge concern these days, they will probably change the way they track you to something a bit more unobtrusive, more likely something a bit stealthier that most people won’t even be able to find.
