HTC-Smart-Is-a-Budget-Toouchscreen-Handset The HTC Smart is the first smartphone of HTC that is based on the proprietary OS of the company. It is called Brew OS.

Actually the design of the mobile device looks very much the same as the HTC Touch2. It is available in a compact design providing a 2.4-inch QVGA display. It offers support for the resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and is capable to display up to 262k colors. Actually, you will be satisfied with the screen’s performance. It offers a decent quality of pictures.

It is considered to be a dual band 3G handset as well as quad band GSM smartphone. It is able to support up to 3.6Mbps download speeds. There is also a possibility to take advantage of Bluetooth v2.0, but unfortunately, the handset lacks GPS as well as Wi-Fi.

The smart offers a basic mail client, which means that one can create email IDs as well as setting for AOL or Gmail accounts. It comes with a basic browser. As a matter of fact, the loading speed of the page is slow, everything looks slightly large and fonts look rubbish.

The HTC Smart comes equipped with a 3.0-megapixel camera available with a LED flash and fixed focus. Apart from that you are able to find a music player that is able to play such file formats as AAC, WMA as well as MP3. You can store your music according to categories.

Furthermore, the handset has basic video player. But you will not be able to find DivX/XviD playback support. It can only mean that the smartphone is able to play back WMV videos, 3GP and MP4 in QVGA resolution.
