As part of the deal, which was inked sometime in April, 32 engineers who were part of the Bangalore-based company are now part of Broadcom. Broadcom Corporation (NASDAQ:BRCM) rose 1.46 percent to $37.61 The intra-day range of the stock was $36.79 to $37.94. Broadcom Corporation (NASDAQ:BRCM) has a market capitalization of $22.00billion.

According regulatory filings the proposed merger between TriQuint Semiconductor (NASDAQ:TQNT) and RF Micro Devices will see the current CEO of RF Micro Devices become the CEO of the combined company, while TriQuint CEO will become the chairman of the board of the combined company. The name of the combined business has not been given. TriQuint Semiconductor (NASDAQ:TQNT)’s stock on June 05, 2014 reported a decrease of -0.93% to the closing price of $16.04. Its fifty two weeks range is $6.66 -$16.28. The total market capitalization recorded $2.75billion. The overall volume in the last trading session was 2.57million shares.
