Mozilla to Launch Fennec for Android Devices

Mozilla-to-Launch-Fennec-for-Android-Devices This week Mozilla launched its mobile browser, known as Fennec. It is designed for Android devices. But still the browser is under development and it is not considered to be a final version of this product.

As it is just a pre-alpha build, you will not be able to find a range of functionality. The on-screen keyboard is unable to pop up automatically in case you tap on a text field. Moreover, it looks like app does not recognize the hardware “Back” button of the handset.

But, actually, Firefox is able to cope with multiple tabs on an easy manner. If you scroll to the far left, you will be brought to a vertical tab panel. With the help of the column, you are able to see every page that you have already opened. At the bottom of the panel you can find an icon with the help of which one can start a new tab.

But if you scroll to the bright, you will find another panel available with one featuring options. You can mark a page as your favorite, open a preferences menu as well as navigate forward or backward. With the help of basic preferences it is possible to set a start page, manage privacy stings or even disable JavaScript. Actually, Android browser is available in a secondary preferences menu, which is considered to be an impressive part of the browser.

At present the browser comes with a range of mobile-specific add-ons that can be used for making downloads. Moreover, the number of add-ons is expected to grow.
