RIM to Unveil Two Smartphones

 RIM-to-Unveil-Two-Smartphones RIM has introduced its two new smartphones at the annual Wireless Enterprise Symposium. The names of the devices are the BlackBerry Bold 9659 and BlackBerry Pearl 3G. It is expected that the BlackBerry Pearl 3G will be available on May 23 and will be offered by Sprint. As for the Pearl 3G, customers can find it on multiple carriers in May.
BlackBerry Bold 9650
The BlackBerry Bold 9650 comes in a solid as well as sleek design. It comes with a 2.4-inch display. There is also a 3.5-mm headphone jack and it provides support up to 32 GB of memory along with microSDHC. Actually, its keyboard resembles the one, found on the Tour 9630.

Moreover, the Bold 9650 features an optical trackpad. The bold is based on BlackBerry OS 5.0. You will be able to find a decent BlackBerry Messenger. Furthermor, there is support for up to 10 various e-mail accounts. The Bold is equipped with a 3.2-megapixel camera, which is available with a flash, image stabilization as well as autofocus.
BlackBerry Pearl 3G
Actually, the Pearl 8100 is slightly smaller. It has the following measures: 4.25 by 1.96 by 0.52 inches. As for its weight, it is 3.3 ounces. In fact, the model is more powerful compared to the previous 2G Pearls. The Pearl 3G backs up Wi-Fi, 3G as well as GPS. It is based on BlackBerry OS 5.0. Similar to the Bold, the device is equipped with a 3.2-megapixel camera that comes with a flash. There is also a BlackBerry Messenger. The smartphone is able to support up to 32GB of expandable memory.

One model of the Pearl 3G will come with a 20-key condensed QWERTY keyboard. Another one will be provided with a traditional T9 keyboard. Both will be available with a decent predictive text software known as SureType.
