Sony to Turn Profit on LCD TV

Sony-to-Turn-Profit-on-LCD-TV Sony has stated on Wednesday that it will expand its state of the art LCD TV production to the European market with a contract from the world’s largest electronics manufacturer. Although Sony has sold over 90 percent of its Slovakian subsidiary to Taiwan’s Ho Hi Precision Industry, they will be able to take Europe by storm and see a huge increase in profits from their widely popular LCD TV’s.
Sony and Ho Hi Working Together
Though Sony has been struggling over the past years to restructure operations to better take on the company’s rivals, this deal is aimed at pushing their rivals aside and generating a vast amount of profit. This isn’t the first time Sony has dealt with Ho Hi. In fact, the Taiwanese company took over a factory in Mexico to push its products deep into the Americas. Not only does the Taiwanese company produce LCD TV’s for Sony, but another contract that has been made between the two companies has Ho Hi making the PlayStation 3 consoles as well.

Apple has also used this manufacturing company to assemble gadgets for the iPod and the iPhone and even helps create PC’s for Dell under the company name of Foxconn.  With such a wide diversity of electronics manufacturing, Ho Hi is set to make almost as much profit as Sony will be by hitting the European market. This will make both companies highly profitable, and the only thing that seems to stand in their way is the reviews of regulators from several countries before finalizing the deal.
