Max Sound have stated that Google and Youtube infringed upon a patent for transport of digital content. The claim stands for all firms around the world which uses the same technology. Google and Youtube happen to be using it.

This lawsuit against Google was filed by Max Sounds in a district court of Germany. The lawsuit was filed against firms which use Max sound’s H.264 and VP8 licenses. Majorly, this lawsuit was targeted towards Google and Youtube. More precisely, it targeted Nexus 5,6 and Nexus 9.
Max Sounds have also reached out to get information regarding the performances of any videos which were streamed in Germany in the mentioned formats. Youtube is another medium which uses the above mentioned licenses. Max Sounds had earlier sued Google in the US with similar infringement charges. They had alleged Google of using trade secrets.
