Kinross Gold Corporation (USA) (NYSE:KGC) on May 9 has announced the detailed voting results of the election of its Board of Directors, which took place at the Company’s Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders held in Toronto on May 8, 2014. The nominees listed in the management proxy circular dated March 26, 2014, were elected as directors of Kinross at the meeting. IAMGOLD Corporation (USA) (NYSE:IAG) today provided an update from ongoing exploration activities at its newly optioned Monster Lake project located 50 kilometres southwest of Chibougamau, Quebec, Canada. IAMGOLD initiated the current exploration program on the project at the end of 2013 pursuant to an Earn-In Agreement finalized with TomaGold Corporation (TSXV: LOT), in which IAMGOLD may earn a 50% interest in each of the Monster Lake, Winchester and Lac à l’eau jaune properties, collectively referred as the Monster Lake Project. IAMGOLD Corp (USA) (NYSE:IAG)’s stock on May 27, 2014 reported a decrease of -4.26% to the closing price of $3.15. Its fifty two weeks range is $3.13 -$7.08. The class action, filed in United States District Court, District of Nevada, is on behalf of a class consisting of all persons or entities who purchased or otherwise acquired securities of Allied Nevada between January 18, 2013 and August 5, 2013, both dates inclusive. On Tuesday, shares of Allied Nevada Gold Corp. (NYSEMKT:ANV) dropped -3.57% to close the day at $2.97. Company return on investment (ROI) is 1.80% and its monthly performance is recorded as -19.73%.
