The race will stay in the flat territory in Northern France for sometime in view of the commemorations that mark the centenary of World War 1.

The race started up on July 5 and goes through the month and goes over 2,700 miles and starts in Britain before going to France and this is the 101st running of the event. The route ends on July 27 and the next stage comes for Le Touquet-Paris-Plage to Lille and that will be one of the most exciting as things head to France.
